History

Chocolate milk is a drink that I love. Once again, I sought to have a healthier version of the famous traditional versions. My reflection was brief: what if I made it with date puree? We could sweeten with a fruit while adding fiber. TADAMSKI!

We mix everything together, hot or cold as you prefer and we end up with a drink as creamy as it is decadent. I am very proud of this recipe.

If we compare this chocolate milk with a traditional version, we end up with:
5 g of fiber instead of 1 g and 13 g of sugar instead of 19 g.

The nutritional values will depend on the type of plant based milk you use. If you opt for the plant based version, the soy beverage is the one that contains the most protein.

Don’t resist the temptation to try this hot (or cold) chocolate for too long, I tell you, it is de-li-cious.

Cheers!

PS. If you want a little hint of caramel in your drink, prepare this recipe with my Caramel Date Puree. Mamamia! It’s so good!
