6 steps

  • Wash your hands properly.

  • Make the green tea according to the instructions on the package. Allow to cool.

  • In a 1 litre Masson jar (or other container), combine the date puree and the Patience Fruit & Co juice with no added sugar.

  • Add the green tea and mix well.

  • Add the ice cubes.

  • Sit back, relax and savour it with a smile (it always tastes better!)

I love iced tea. Real iced tea, not the kind that has us consuming heaps of added sugar unnecessarily. When I fell in love with the wonderfully powerful taste of Patience Fruit & Co’s organic fruit juices, I just had to come up with a recipe that was healthier than all those popular store-bought iced teas.

Nothing complicated.

Just something very simple and super refreshing.

Honestly, let me know what you think.

  • Ideally, it’s best to drink it right away, but you can store this iced green tea with no added sugar in the fridge. When you’re ready to drink it, just make sure you give it a good stir first.

Where can I buy Madame Labriski date puree?

At IGA, Rachelle Béry, Marché Tradition and Bonichoix grocery stores across Quebec. My purees contain no preservatives and can be found in the fruit and vegetable section (yes, dates are fruit) near the pre-cut fruit and vegetables. If you can’t find them, simply ask a member of staff!

Madame Labriski, which dates do you use to make your puree?

I’ve been asked that question so many times that I decided to offer the actual dates used to make my date puree sold in grocery stores. How cool is that? Plus, these ones are date halves… to make life easier for you!
