The Visionary

Madame Labriski Inc.

The entrepreneurial adventure: from kitchen to (multi)national brand.

There was once an amateur marathon runner who, one year, was the first Quebec woman to cross the finishing line at the Chicago Marathon. The energy generated by this achievement gave rise to an unbelievable driving force. I had a clear vision for my project but no idea how I’d go about implementing it with no means whatsoever apart from a burning desire to turn this vision sweetened with date puree into a reality. It all began with the blog, which subsequently led to a brand personality on social media, bestselling cookbooks and a line of food products available in grocery stores. With every victory, the finishing line became the new starting line.

Having a mission and a clear vision is vital. Short-term goals will gradually be replaced with long-term ones. What’s your vision? What do you see ahead?

My way of thinking and doing things is simple. I open the floodgates to possibilities: Quebec, Canada, the world. Why should we impose limits on ourselves?

Think big and think even bigger.
