Who wants to try some yummy Monkey poo? Hahaha! Here’s my recipe for the finger-licking good Monkey Poo snacks that Mini Labriski eats on her diabolically sweet adventures in Sucrabolique!, the first volume in my new collection of children’s books (Available only in French for the time being). What are you eating? It’s monkey poo! Hilarious, right? As well as being super easy to make, these no-cook snacks are also VEGAN (egg-free and dairy-free), GLUTEN-FREE, NUT-FREE (and also peanut-free if you choose to make them with WowButter instead of peanut butter). YUM-YUMMSKI! At the end of the recipe, I talk about Mini Labriski and explain her mission which, just like Madame Labriski, is to help reduce the consumption of refined sugar.
Please note: coconuts are not nuts and if you make these Poos using WowButter, they are allergen free.
Do you have a peanut allergy but haven’t quite fallen in love with WowButter? Ever thought about trying sesame seed butter? Yup… it’s delish. (And yes, you can also make Monkey Poos using sesame seed butter. ;-)
MADAME’S TOP TIP: If you like caramel, try these monkey poo snacks using my caramel-flavoured date puree. Yum yum…
Why Mini Labrisiki? Because I believe anything is possible in life and I’ve always dreamed of writing children’s books. Seeing the sparkle in children’s eyes during my culinary presentations made me understand that I needed to mentor them to believe in themselves and their infinite possibilities… as much as I can.
