The Pretty Juicy Juice(dried fruit bars)

It’s official, FUEL YOUR DAY (the English version of my best-selling yellow recipe book in French which has sold over 132,000 copies) has finally hit the shelves. And, to whet your appetite, here’s a recipe for the perfect treat to pack in your lunchbox. These bars are not only SUGAR-FREE and FAT-FREE, they’re also GLUTEN-FREE, DAIRY-FREE, NUT- and PEANUT-FREE and CHOCOLATE-FREE, plus they take no time at all to make. Providing the ultimate energy boost, I love eating them just before a workout. And if you want an even healthier version, try them with dried fruit sweetened with fruit juice. Enjoy.

SOURCE OF INSTANT ENERGY and yumyumskiness!

Looking for the  French version?

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix until combined.

  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat—otherwise, everything will stick.

  4. Using a spoon, spread the mixture onto the baking sheet. Don’t be afraid to firmly press it down onto the baking sheet so the bars hold together.

  5. Bake for about 20 minutes. OMG! It smells so good!

  6. Let the bars cool before slicing. Enjoy this fruity delight!

Storage (in a airtight container)

  • Fives days on the counter
  • One week on the fridge
  • 3 months in the freezer
