The Boooooo(chocolate Halloween cookies)

Booo!

Here’s a delicious way to prepare for Halloween as a family. Classics are great, but classics in a colorful disguise are even better! How about making Frankenstein-green cookies or using blood-red colors? Booooooski!

AND THEN WHAT?

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F (180 °C).

  2. In a bowl, combine the ingredients from the Section 01.

  3. Add the ingredients from the Section 02. Wait for the light frothing to occur (just for fun), then mix well.

  4. Mix in the ingredients from the Section 03 until combined.

  5. Add a few drops of food coloring and have fun creating monster cookies.

  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat – otherwise, everything will stick.

  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough to create beautifully round energy cookies.

  8. Bake for about 15 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack.

  9. Have fun, and watch the surprised reactions of the lucky recipients.

Storage (in a airtight container)

  • 5 days on the counter
  • 1 week and a half in the fridge
  • 3 months in the freezer

Baking the Boooooo energy cookies is a fun pre-Halloween activity to do with the kids.

We like the recipe because it’s fun, but also because it can replace the store-bought chocolate chips cookie. Wow!!

Are they really good? hahaha Of course they are!!
