With a Grain of SaltCaramel & fleur de sel

People coming over? Yay, we’ve got visitors! How do you impress your guests while still serving them healthy eats? Don’t stress. With this recipe for festive treats with a dough that contains no added sugar or fat, you’ll keep them smiling (and dazzle them with your culinary talents ;-) Hahaha! Tadahski! After my Truffeskis, here’s another favourite festive recipe for the Holiday season called With a Grain of Salt, small energy cookies that are easy-peasy to make and 100% Labriski. What’s more, they’re ultra-stylish. Fabulous! Baking With a Grain of Salt cookies will bring a little love, joy and peace to any special occasion. Ho! Ho! Ho!

An ultra-chic source of « wow » factor!

Your guests will be blown away by your culinary talents...

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Put the date puree, applesauce, egg and caramel extract into a bowl and mix until well blended.

  3. Add the baking soda and baking powder and stir again.

  4. Next add the ground almonds and flour to the mixture and, just for a change, mix together.

  5. Lastly, gradually stir in the Skor toffee bits and fleur de sel.

  6. LABRISKIAN STEP! Line your Labriski sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper. Why? Because there’s absolutely no fat in this recipe so if you don’t, EVERYTHING WILL STICK! NooooOOOOOoooooooo! We don’t have time to deal with that right now. Hahaha!

  7. Form nice little cookies (treats) using teaspoons or even a small scoop. If you feel like it, you can garnish with a Skor toffee bit and grain of fleur de sel on top (this will help you maximize that wow factor!)

  8. Pop them into the oven at 350° F for 18 minutes and breathe in the amazingly wonderful aromas that will permeate your kitchen. Ha! ah! Ha!!
